THANK YOU, Kelly. Fabulous article. Am so disgusted and despondent at this incredibly cruel nonsense that it renders me nearly speechless. I will NOT be quiet about this. Thanks again - keep up the great work.

Thank you for reading! I'm also despondent (such a good work) but encouraged by all the wonderful people who are dedicated to speaking out!

“We insist that shame change sides”!!! Yes! That is absolutely perfect and SPOT ON. The WRONG SIDE is being shamed and feeling shame. It makes me SO angry to know that children are being traumatized and damaged by adults, even now! And even the doctors helped Epstein hide his atrocities. And people at JP Morgan. And all those modeling agencies. Infuriating!! Shame must change sides!!!

Broadwaybabyto's avatar

Agreed! It's important we support survivors and make sure they know its not their fault and they don't need to feel any shame. It's the predators who should feel the shame.

When the country elects a P -grabber in chief, twice no less, what message do we send our girls? When the judge in the Stanford swimmer rape case is more concerned with his future than his victim, when a prep school lacrosse player murders his ex girlfriend at UVA and Donald Trump gloats about walking into Miss Teen USA dressing rooms on Howard Stern, what do we tell our girls ? Trump gave Stern the Ok to call his own daughter “a piece of ass” yet somehow gets the “ Christian values” vote? God thought making it clear not to covet your neighbor’s wife would be enough and spelling out not to covet your own daughter wasn’t necessary.

After all that Trump gets away with calling hard working immigrants rapists instead of the rich prep school white boys who dominate Epstein parties?

Anyone see any undocumented immigrants in the footage of Trumpstein joined at the hip in pervy creepiness?

I made sure my daughter had a black belt by middle school, but she tells me about boys in high school who seem to quote incel Reddit and surf porn. My parenthood books are apparently missing a chapter.

When Trump used his Bible photo op to attack a peaceful BLM protest, I couldn’t help but wonder why a lightning bolt didn’t strike him down. Did he know it says, “thou shalt not commit adultery,” and “it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Speaking of soulless people, after all the sexual harassment of her female ex-colleagues and Trump saying, "There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever," about Kelly herself, what kind of twisted sicko tries to normalize grandpas forcing themselves in 15 yos? She, Ted Can Cun Cruz and little Marco should a Biggest Loser competition to see who has the least self-respect.

Nothing remotely Christian about Trump.

My parents also put me in self defence classes when I was young, I definitely think it's a good thing to do if you can!

As you said, there's nothing Christian about Trump or his followers and we must all keep speaking out and protect as many women and girls as we can.

Marianne Klee's avatar

Not only is he not Christian, I firmly believe he is the anti-Christ.

What message does it send to ALL? Both boys ang girls get the message. Hence, the "your body, my choice" filth......

Great article. One of my concerns is that while the ‘age issue’ is being used overtly to normalise paedophilia, the subsequent explosion in the discussion of age limits is being used much more covertly - to normalise sexual assault and people trafficking in general. It should go without saying that sexual assault of children is the most heinous of crimes, but ‼️there is no age limit that would ever legitimise rape, sexual assault or people trafficking! ‼️

I think this is the narrative we should be pushing.

Broadwaybabyto's avatar

I completely agree Carol. Rape and trafficking is never ok regardless of the age. I think it's important we point out these were children since pedophilia carries an extra charge and sentence, but absolutely rape and sexual assault must never ever be normalized.

This is so incredibly painful for me. “They’re asked things like ‘what were you wearing? What were you drinking? Were you encouraging him?’” In 1976, I faced the same disgusting criticism after I was sexually assaulted by a burglar at 4:30 am, in my own bedroom. Since I was an adult, it’s hard for me to imagine how these young girls will ever recover. It took me years and years, with the help of my friends, to stop waking up screaming every night. But I will never forget that first night without reliving that horrific nightmare.

Broadwaybabyto's avatar

I'm so sorry that this happened to you and I'm glad you had good friends to help you through it. It's such a difficult thing to process at any age, I also can't imagine how children could ever be expected to process that level of trauma.

Dragging it out in the media and playing political games is so utterly cruel to all the survivors.

Thanks. I don’t believe I would ever report an assault again. The criticism you get is like being raked over hot coals laced with shards of glass after you’ve been stripped naked by an assault. A few months after the incident, I was working at a new job, & my assistant turned out to be the sheriff’s wife. She was very kind, & tried to reassure me by telling me that her husband had sent his officers to assault victim sensitivity training. But it was cold comfort for me. I quit my job, moved away, & built a whole new life as far away as I could get.

I’m so sorry you had to go through this.

I am so very sorry. That is outrageous and disgusting what they asked of you. We will never give up fighting against these outrages. Blessings to you....

What about all the young boys that were also abused and exploited. Who will speak for them? Expose all the perpetrators and hold them accountable.

Could someone please tell me why what is essentially a lot of evidence of a lot of criminal activity can just be hidden from view and used indefinitely as political fodder? I thought the point of investigating was to find out if crimes were committed and bring them to justice, not hide the results. Especially crimes this far reaching and awful.

Great article btw.

Barbara Schutt's avatar

There are so many powerful people all across the spectrum involved in this that they can keep it hidden indefinitely, unfortunately. I feel it will never fully come out and tRump will get it "investigated" and tied up in the courts so that the public will never see it, certainly not in it's entirety.

They have the evidence.

I suspect this has happened in far more cases than we’ve been made aware of. Sexual violence against women being only one of them.

If you'll excuse a15 year old being raped because she looks older then you'll excuse a 13 y.o that looks 15, then an 11 year old thay looks 14.

Do you see how this works ?

Thank you so much for your “post mortem” on pedophilia. Especially the political forces trying to whitewash this grave aberration in an attempt to spare djt criminal consequences. I’m hopeful for the day when every pedophile is arrested and punished to the full extent of the law. Then, and only then, will your essay be a post mortem.

Donald Trump stands accused of sexual assault by 26 adult women. Multiple courts have found him liable for sexual assault.

Trump is also accused of slapping and violently raping a 13-year-old child provided to him by his good friends—the pedophile sex traffickers, Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Trump’s long friendship and intense interactions with Epstein and Maxwell are confirmed by hundreds of sources—by Trump’s own effusive praise of their friendship, by photos, by videotapes, by narratives from Trump’s friends, and by Trump’s salacious card delivered on the occasion of Epstein’s 50th birthday.

Because release of the Epstein files threatens both the Presidency and the personal freedom of sexual predator Donald Trump, coverup of information in the files is a top priority of the Trump Administration.

Pam Bondi, Attorney General of the United States, appears to be leading the coverup. Last May, Bondi abruptly broke her promise to release the Epstein client list that—she acknowledged—was on her desk.

Why?

Did President Trump order Attorney General Bondi not to release the list of pedophiles because he is on the list?

Or, is Attorney General Bondi refusing the release because her own name is in the Epstein files? Why was Epstein permitted to traffic children to Pedophile Oligarchs in the State of Florida while Pam Bondi was Florida’s Attorney General? Is the answer to this question in the files?

Did Pam Bondi find information in the files of a criminal collusion involving Alex Acosta, and Jeffrey Epstein that explains why the Republican Administrations—State and Federal—permitted Epstein to continue raping children AFTER he was first exposed, arrested, convicted, sentenced, and incarcerated in the State of Florida?

In the most outrageous plea deal in the history of pedophilia, the Republican U. S. Attorney, Alex Acosta, allowed Epstein to continue to operate his “businesses,” AND CONTINUE TO PIMP AND RAPE CHILDREN, six days a week during daytime hours if he agreed to be confined to a jail cell for 12 hours each night, and 24 hours on Sundays—for thirteen months. JUST THIRTEEN MONTHS!

Release of the Epstein files obviously threatens Donald Trump, scores of other wealthy pedophiles, hundreds of Republican members of Congress, thousands of Republican office holders, and millions of MAGA Neo-Nazis who hate People of Color. The American people deserve to know what Pam Bondi, Alex Acosta and Donald Trump are hiding. And why.

OBEY THE LAW. RELEASE THE FILES.

Good points, clear patterns, thanks for posting this. Release the Epstein/Maxwell Files.
