In fact, shock devices have been used in schools for disabled children for years. Now they’ve entered the public school system in Nebraska. Why is no one talking about it?
Based on some of the local reporting, it sounds like the decision was made without much input from parents.
Now that word has gotten out parents are fighting back and Omaha has agreed to remove them but they're still in Bellevue and a number of other smaller districts.
Welcome back. Sorry you've had a dreadful time. I hope things and people will be better for you from now on. We relish your posting and agree with you. But, look after yourself, too.
That's scary. I can just picture a mob of ice agents encircling and shocking the heck out of one of their victims, while all yelling "stop resisting!" These things will give them their best means to torture minorities yet.
How was this decided to use in schools in Nebraska? Who thought this would be appropriate? Enlighten me. I want names.

Nice to see you posting again - as always, Bob

Thank you so much. The guilt when I’m not writing is strong and I so appreciate the kind words and encouragement!
Absolutely outrageous!
I agree!
This is horrifying, and as always you've covered it well, but I'm really here to say: I'm so glad you had the energy to write. Sending hugs your way.

Thank you for bringing this atrocity to the attention of the public.
